Taiwan DS Hospital Restaurant

On the first day of my fifth business trip to Taiwan, I discovered this new concept restaurant located in the North of HsinChu, called DS Hospital Restaurant. This restaurant only operated from 6pm - midnight. Wilson and I decided to give it a try on it and experience the feeling served by "Nurse" because all of the waiter/waitress here are wearing nurse uniform. Wow!

"Registration" counter

Inside the restaurant, there is one sweet and cute nurse waiting for us for registration, called Xiao Mi. After confirmed with our reservation, we were guided to our mini table by another nurse. Anything special? Trust me, what ever thing you can see from hospital, they got it here.

I was shocked when i got their menu, especially in the beverage section. There are a lot of cute medicine (beverage) to drink, for example Panadol, Vitamin A,B,C, RU-486, etc. Beside, some tables design is a operation bed. Yes, customer is actually eating, drinking on top of a operation bed. This shop is partitioned into a few portion with named intensive care room, pharmacy and ... guess what, they named the toilet as emergency room !! :D

Penang Spice Garden

Penang Spice Garden is privately-funded agro-tourism project endorsed by the Penang state government which is located some where in between Batu Ferringhi and Teluk Bahang. Xx and I decided to spend 2-3 hours in this garden due to it high recommendation on this garden.

Path to the adventure ...
Watch out your step !!

Some spicies, plants that I never get in touch before ...

More flowers ...

I managed to get a closer picture using my 50mm on this grasshopper. How lucky!

Beside flowers and spice plants, there are also some facilities built in this garden eg. Hammock, chairs, etc. Xx is the first person who discovered the hammock while I'm still busy taking flowers picture. She can't hold her feeling and "jump" into it ... I know she loved Hammock a lot and plan to install one in her house in future.

Wait! That's not the only thing she discovered. There's more! There is a giant swing in this garden. It makes you feel like flying in the sky when you sit on it. Don't worry, there will be a gigantic net holding you at the bottom if you felt from the swing chair.

Some abstract picture i took ...

Mayan Hammock ... Xx sleep and enjoyed it behind

Giant Swing Chair

Tsunami Memorial - a giant trunk floated and stayed in front of spice garden after tsunami

There are another special place deep inside the Spice Garden which is specially built for wedding event. You can booked this place for your wedding if you want because it was surrounded by nature and man-made pond. Trust me! It's really a good place for wedding ... check out my picture below.

I had been to heaven ...

Heaven? Yes, heaven. I was drowned in the heaven of food - Ipoh and Penang.
Gosh....I miss the food so much. As planned, I went to Penang (my last visit was 2 years ago) and will dropped by Ipoh for some treat with Xx.

Ipoh? Sure i will eat dim sum la. Normally, i will go to Fushan Restaurant. But, this time, I went to Ming Court which was fully recommended by all my Ipoh-ian friends. Thanks for my friend with his simple but useful simple guidance to Ming Court.

Do me a favour ... Pay it for me! :D

Variety of Dim Sum ... Enjoy! and watch out your saliva

This one is my favourite ... Char Siew Pao

How can i hold when all these dim sum in front of me?

Fried Har Kuen - some kind of Shrimp roll

Penang is famous with "Asam Laksa", like the picture show below. I personally love the way they made in Penang. The soup and fish meat mixed evenly and taste good with mint leaves. Wow! I feel like to eat it again right now. :D
