夏綠地 - Italian Restaurant @ Hsinchu

One Sunday afternoon, I decided to try out a small restaurant - 夏綠地 which I heard they served good Italian food. Although it located in a small street & off mainroad, but, this restaurat was crowded with customers, full house.

Ok, there are plenty of food and beverages in the menu. And I can't wait to try all of them. I spent more than 15 minutes to order yummy lunch to fulfill my stomach. Goo...loo.....goo...loo... Oh no, stomach alarm sounded. "ello, can you served me main course before my appertizer?"

I believed this restaurant give a good deal ... Most of the main course is come in set - inclusive soup of the day (with 2 bread), hot/cold drinks, a piece of cake and sky juice (with lime touch).

Here you go, check it out. It's TWD 1480 for 5 set lunch and 1 extra soup.
You tell me ... is it price considered cheap? (Around RM 18 per person)
Who's care?? As long as it is delicious, there will be people appreciate chef's masterpiece.

It's lunch time! Today i don't feel like to order any lunch box due to LOO Decease - "Lunch Order Overdose Decease". Wahaha! Here you go, this is a the triangle shape Rice Roll i bought from 7-eleven nearby office.

Although it small, but, trust me ... it's really filling. And 2 triangle rice roll (Pork Mince and Egg Mayonese) and a cup of latte the lunch i decided to take today. Yeah! I'm so happy ...

Delicious by Ms Read (One Utama)

Well, to celebrate my friend - Shin Tean's 2* th birthday, we decided to have a simple dinner in the restaurant which served good food and nice cake - Ms. Read's Delicious Cafe. Smart Xx come out with this idea to Delicious after our last visit a couple of years ago (i think so ...). For me, this is my 2nd visit, quite impress with their restaurant design.

One thing i don't like is the behaviour of staff in this restaurant. While they are taking order, they will showed unhappy and frowned face. I wonder is this because of their low paid salary?? Hahaha ....

Taiwan DS Hospital Restaurant

On the first day of my fifth business trip to Taiwan, I discovered this new concept restaurant located in the North of HsinChu, called DS Hospital Restaurant. This restaurant only operated from 6pm - midnight. Wilson and I decided to give it a try on it and experience the feeling served by "Nurse" because all of the waiter/waitress here are wearing nurse uniform. Wow!

Inside the restaurant, there is one sweet and cute nurse waiting for us for registration, called Xiao Mi. After confirmed with our reservation, we were guided to our mini table by another nurse. Anything special? Trust me, what ever thing you can see from hospital, they got it here.

I was shocked when i got their menu, especially in the beverage section. There are a lot of cute medicine (beverage) to drink, for example Panadol, Vitamin A,B,C, RU-486, etc. Beside, some tables design is a operation bed. Yes, customer is actually eating, drinking on top of a operation bed. This shop is partitioned into a few portion with named intensive care room, pharmacy and ... guess what, they named the toilet as emergency room !! :D

Backpacking to Cambodia_Part I - Local Cuisine

Wow, I just can't wait to share with you on some of nice, but weird, Cambodia Cuisine. Majority of their food is good, fantastic and yummy, but some times you will shout "Eeee......".


1. French Bread with Minced Port cooked with coconut sauce & Vietnam Coffee
Comment: Oh gosh...Just can't wait to take another bit. So far, this is the best breakfast i ever had.





2. BBQ Snake ...
Comment: Eee.... Taste salty and Snakey. I only manage to take a bit. That's it!




3. Pork Noodle with Vietnam Coffee
Comment: Almost similar taste with MY style Pork noodle ... Not bad.






4. Amok Fish (Coconut curry with fish meat)
Comment: Amok is a famous local cuisine in Cambodia. They cooked it with coconut, peanut, some local spice, ... It served with pork meat also. But i prefer fish since i have "Luc-Lac" already.




5. Fish Omelet, Cold vegetable, Luc-Lac, Steamed Shrimp
Comment: I love the fresh cold vegetable (green crunchy tomatoes & cucumber) which served together with the Omelet. There was fish meat inside the omelete. Can't you imagine, my friend and I finished the whole plate of shrimp. Hehe! :D




6. Luc-Lac (Local style Fried Beef)
Comment: Besides Amok, this is another dish recommended by Xx. I think this is a must try dish because she seldom giving good comment on Beef related dish. "This one ... Ho Jiak" I shouted to my friends. The waitress teached us to eat it with the spicy salt (2nd small plate in front of the rice). It tastes even fantastic!



I personally really impressed with their cooking style, they can make a simple thing into an unpredictable, unexpected taste ... :D I heard that I can get nicer food in Vietnam. I'm looking forward on my next trip to Vietnam...
